A short drive from The Lovells bed and breakfast up to the top of the Malvern Hills takes you into an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with magnificent views to Worcestershire and Herefordshire and on particularly clear days, through to the Shropshire Hills and Black Mountains in Wales. There is also the Elgar Route to follow, including his birthplace and museum at Broadheath, which is said to have inspired some of the greatest orchestral pieces of all time. Remember to bring your walking boots!

Great Malvern boasts a wonderful theatre complex with first rate professional productions (pre and post London staging) all year round in addition to being the home of the English String Orchestra which celebrates Sir Edward Elgar at its special Festival in early June. The Lovells bed and breakfast accommodation is a short ride from the centre of the town.

The Lovells bed and breakfast is a very short drive from the Three Counties Showground that is close to Malvern town plays host to the exciting dress rehearsal for the Chelsea Flower Show in early May at its annual Spring Show. See the newest trends here first. In late September there is an equally brilliant Autumn Gardening Show as well as many other specialist shows and antique fairs.

The Lovells bed and breakfast is also close to Upton-upon-Severn that plays host to festivals throughout the year and is particularly famous for its Jazz Weekend at the end of June as well as its Water Festival over August Bank Holiday which culminates in floats, fireworks and laser show over the River Severn.

The Lovells bed and breakfast is also conveniently situated for easy access to Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, The Blossom Trail around the Vale of Evesham, Cheltenham, Gloucester and two local vineyards, whilst "going over the hill" takes you quickly into the pretty old town of Ledbury or easily on your way to such spectacular beauty as Symonds Yat. There are also many and various National Collections of plants locally together with beautiful gardens.
